Locked out?
Call us first.
Has the door closed behind you with the keys inside? Check whether a housemate, neighbour or your landlord has a spare key. If not, call us and give your address.
The locksmith opens the door on site. We always try to do this without damage to the door or the lock.
Key broken in the lock?
Leave the piece in.
Stop turning and do not push anything else into the lock. If a small piece still sticks out, you can sometimes pull it straight out with pliers or tweezers.
If the piece is completely inside the cylinder, call us. The locksmith removes it on site and replaces the cylinder if it is damaged.
Moving in or lost a key?
Change the cylinder.
After moving house you rarely know how many keys of previous residents are still around. With a new cylinder, old keys no longer fit.
Renting a room or apartment? Ask your landlord first whether the lock may be changed and who pays. Then we take care of it.
Burglary?
Make the door lock again.
Has someone broken in or tried to? The lock is then often damaged. Report the burglary to the police if you have not done so yet.
HSB repairs or replaces the lock, so your door closes securely again.
